 Awesome Antioch Youth!

Our teenagers meet every Sunday night at 5 p.m. for food, games, worship, devotion and conversation! They’ve do mission life-changing mission trips, fundraisers (like the above Speghetti dinner), planning retreats, and more!

 

Faith and Fun for Everyone at Sunday School!

We have five different Sunday School classes spanning all ages for your convenience. The children meat in the “Noah’s Ark” room in the back of the fellowship Hall. The teenagers have their “Rams” class that meets in back room on right side of hall. We have a young adult class that meets in middle room on left of hall, and an adult class that meets in the classroom to the left of the entryway.

 

Music Ministry!

Our Choir practices on Wednesday nights, and we also have a Praise Group that sings contemporary praise songs!

  

Reaching out through Crosslines!

This is a mission to help needy people in our area with a food pantry. For three months, members bring needed items and our Crosslines coordinators transport them to Crosslines for distribution.

 

New Playground Area! 

Our new playground consists of a new swing set, slide and picnic table, thanks to all who donated the funds and thanks to those who donated their time, equipment, and tools to construct the playground.

 

Children’s Choir! 

We have eight to thirteen children from ages 6 to 11 that enjoy singing praise God once or twice a month in our worship service! They rehearse twice a month on Sundays at 5 p.m. There’s room for your child, too!

College Age Sunday School!

We have started a new Sunday School class which starts at 9:45 am every Sunday.

 

 

D48 stands for Dinner for Eight

You know when you walk into church, we say "Good morning how are you.....I'm fine, how are you?' But there really isn't a whole lot of time for deeper conversations.   

 

Well Antioch is starting a brand new fellowship ministry to help foster deeper connections between us. It's called Dinner for Eight (D48). Dinner for Eight is simply eight people getting together for dinner. Here's how it works: 

 

Simply sign up and you’ll then be randomly placed with others & the group of eight will be set. Whoever is hosting Dinner for Eight for that month provides the main course. They will contact the other people in the group and have them bring salad, vegetable or potato and dessert. Whoever is hosting the meal can be as ordinary as they want or as extraordinary as they want. Bottom line is we want you to sign up, so don’t worry that you don’t have superfantastic dinnerware or beautiful tablecloths..the food can be what YOU like and are comfortable fixing.

 

A leader will be selected from the group & will call all the other members, telling them how to get to their house for dinner. During dinner, the group will agree on a schedule of whose house to go to for the next month. All the leaders have to do is call the other people in the group, & give them directions to their house for the first dinner on the pre-selected night.

 

What if you say, "I don’t have room to host a dinner or I really can’t cook!" No problem! Our desire is for you to spend time eating together, getting to know each other and to include everyone. Ideas might be to repeat a host home, but to potluck together, plan a picnic, or eat out. We want everyone to feel that they can participate. You could even arrange to meet at the church.

There will not be separate groups for singles & couples...our intention is to mix EVERYONE together.

The group of eight lasts for four (4) months are over, and hopefully, you will have had such a wonderful experience that you’ll sign-up again for another round! If it goes well this time we can do it again in the fall.
